Was the "car door" test in the Goodfellas movie?

I can find no source to confirm that it was in Goodfellas, it seemed to originate from the film "A Bronx Tale".

Sonny tells C that first you open the car door for her. Then as you walk around to the driver’s side if she reaches over to unlock your door, she is the one. So C is dating a black girl, which was unheard of in those days. When she passes the test we could feel the emotional leap for joy that C felt and how he could not wait to tell Sonny that she was one of the great ones.
