The first link makes no mention of Lawrence Isaac Newton James that I or my word search can see, and the second simply states it without supporting evidence. This link

suggests his full name was indeed Isaac Newton, and that his father, who died three months before his birth, was also named Isaac Newton. His mother remarried to a Rev Smith when Newton was two, but he never took that name, for which we should be thankful. Somehow, Smith's Laws of Motion doesn't really cut it.

Sir Isaac Newton born 25 Dec 1642 according to the Julian calendar or 04 Jan 1643 on the Gregorian calender at Woolsthopre, Lincolnshire.
