Did the Beatles ever meet an acting US President?

It doesn't look like they ever met with any acting US presidents. However, Elvis Presley once met with President Nixon to urge him not to allow the Beatles to enter the United States (they were in England at the time) because of their anti-war activism. Most people think that Elvis was really just jealous of them.

George Harrison met President Ford on December 13, 1974 in the White House. By that time, he was rather an ex-Beatle, of course.
