Golden Crisp is a breakfast cereal made by Post Cereals and introduced in 1949 as Sugar Crisp. It consists of sweetened puffed wheat. The advertisements feature its mascot, an anthropomorphic cartoon bear character known as Sugar Bear, who sings the jingle, "Can't get enough of that Golden Crisp."
Gerry Matthews provided the original voice for Sugar Bear which feature qualities similar to Dean Martin's. He portrayed a shallow eyed, easy going character. His way of singing can also be similar to Bing Crosby. For a time in the mid-'70s, Sugar Bear's voice was changed so as not to sound like Crosby's, due to pending legal action from him.
