Apparently none. The wealthy Portuguese bachelor had no children, and died of natural causes at 42. Curiously, he chose to leave his fortune to 70 strangers who he chose at random from a Lisbon telephone book 13 years before his death. He did so at a Lisbon registry office with two witnesses.
