On 'Family Guy' they make fun of the name Dick Armey, but I do not understand why. What is so funny about the name Dick Armey?

Perhaps it has something to do with his politics.

I think it has little to do with his politics and more to do with the actual name (with emphasis on the first name). While not the most legit link, the following gets the job done:
