Lyndon B. Johnson was the first president to be born in the 20th century on August 27, 1908. However, Kennedy was the first president in office that was born the in the 20th century.

Lyndon B. Johnson the first president to be born in the 20th century (1908). John F Kennedy was born in 1917 and was the first president serving that was born in the 20th century.
