Plenty of spy glasses around, but 29Cove is right - and here's a ref:

There was a Spy Glass Tavern, but it was owned by Silver not the Hawkins family. The map was in the possession of Billy Bones, a non-paying lodger with the Hawkinses at the Benbow.
