The bunyip is a mythical Australian water creature said to hide in swamps, rivers, lakes etc and drag humans to their deaths.

The yowie is a mythical, Australian, large, ape-like creature which lurks in forests, not unlike Bigfoot.

Yowies are also a delicious chocolate treat for kids in Australia. ;)
