Not much shows up in a Google search for "Tonsil Parlor," and I suspect you may have asked the similar question just posted at amazon. I am inclined to agree with Hooley at that site, that "Tonsorial Parlor" makes more sense as a synonym for Barber Shop

this may have been mistakenly or humourously corrupted into "Tonsil Parlor" in your source for this question? This seems to be borne out by the photo posted at

which is tagged "Club Ed- tonsil parlour," but the photo shows an old building with the lettering "Tonsorial Parlour" in the window.
