I have never heard of Popeye The Sailor having any brothers or sisters. Where did his nephews, Pipeye, Peepeye, Pupeye, and Poopeye come from?

Pipeye, Pupeye, Poopeye, Peepeye only appear in the cartoons and were never in the original Comic Strip and there appears to be no indication of whose Children they were.
