The Wikipedia reference for the Hindhead tunnel proclaims it as the longest non-estuarial road tunnel in the United Kingdom. Not quite the longest, both the Kingsway and the Queensway tunnels under the Mersey estuary are longer road tunnels - and yes the Queensway tunnel is the longest of these.
