Are the tattoos on Laura Prepon's arm in "Orange is the New Black" her own or are they specially applied for the show?

Laura Prepon in interview:
"The tats, well, I actually wanted to be more tatted. Like I wanted an entire sleeve, but Jenji had a very specific image of what she wanted. It's funny because there's one tattoo that my makeup artist and I hate and Jenji loves it. It's a little tattoo of a woman next to my gorgeous rose and, I tell you, every time we put that tattoo on my arm it never wants to stick on because she knows we hate it."
