According to Guinness the largest hamburger eaten in a single setting was a 15 lb hamburger at Denny's beer pub in Clearfield, Pennsylvania consumed by a skinny female college student.

According to the article you cite, the largest eaten at Denny's was a 9lb burger, eaten by the college student mentioned.
The 15lb burger has never been finished.
