Kicking Horse Pass is the highest point on the Trans-Canada Highway at an elevation of 1,627 meters (5,338 feet). It is part of the Canadian Rockies, and it on the Alberta/British Columbia border.
The Trans-Canada Highway was created in 1962 and stretches for 7,821 kilometers (4,860 miles) across the country.
