Was George Washington ever a prisoner of war?

Wikipedia includes George Washington on a list of notable prisoners of war.

However, the event this refers to was the 1754 Battle of Fort Necessity when Washington was forced to surrender by the French. Since the negotiations resulted in Washington and his troops being allowed to retreat, it isn't really accurate to describe him as a prisoner of war.
