There does not seem to be any reliable information confirming Jacqueline Kennedy personally meeting John Lennon. In her autobiography "Reading Jackie", she alludes to this when she collaborated with Jan Wenner on his book "The Ballad of John and Yoko" by insisting he re-write the introduction to make it more personal because unlike herself, he had known John.

The only documented meeting between a member of the Beatles and herself is Paul McCartney. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/home/event/article-2321302/Paul-McCartney-We-gypsies-bunch-nutters-road-God--His-moving-interview-life-Linda.html
