What was the name of the dog (and the horse), in "Sky King"?

Although 'Sky' didn't have a trusty sidekick for a companion, niece Penny did -- a beautiful white German Shepherd named White Shadow. Penny called him 'Shadow' for short.

I don't find the answer on that link. I seem to remember a horse or horses--it was the Flying Crown Ranch, after all--but can't find a reference to one. This was a favorite show of mine, certainly including the Nabisco logo that roared overhead.

YES -- Sky had a horse named Yellow Fury -- "As a bonus, there were line pictures of Sky King's jet airplane, the Flying Arrow, and his horse, Yellow Fury, on the side, and a full-figure bas-relief of Sky King himself on the bottom. What a premium!"

In addition... "A white German Shepherd, he belonged to Penny, and his name was 'WHITE SHADOW.' A beautiful animal, and Penny called him 'Shadow' for short."

The website zbeckabee cites is incorrect, at least as far as the TV show goes. It may have tied in to the radio series that preceded the TV series, but Sky King never flew a jet plane on TV. He had two different twin (piston) engine Cessna planes over the course of the series, each named "Songbird," not "Flying Arrow."

Also, the "White Shadow" dog reference is incorrect. White Shadow was in the Disney series "Corky and White Shadow." It seems no Internet searcher has been able to come up with a pet dog for Penny, or anyone else in the series.
