According to this site, it means "rabbit reptile": link https://a-dinosaur-a-day.com/post/163217995470/lagerpeton.

In fact, it has been suggested that this creature moved by hopping, like rabbits and hares, which are members of the order Lagomorpha (hence the "lag" part of this dinosaur's name).
