What does 'Ne te quasiveris extra' mean?

This looks like one of those impossible to translate accurately school/college mottos.
If you mean quaesiveris, it roughly means don't seek for anything outside of yourself.

Seen in Ralph Walso Emerson's "Self-Relience," among other things, "ne te quaesiveris extra" is Latin for "Do not seek outside yourself." Or more simply put, "Look within."
