This is a blast from the past - I remember my Dad had this game in the early 60's (possibly late 50's) and it was a green synthetic/plastic kind of sheet about 5 foot by 2 foot and it was gripped tightly either end of the table with clamps. There were about 5 or 6 lead horses of different colours and when you turned the handle that was attached the vibration of the sheet made the horses 'jump' along the track. First horse to the finishing post was the winner. Don't remember any rules as such - we just used to have a flutter with pennies when we had family gatherings. Sorry for rambling - but (as I was only a kid at the time) I remember giving the horses names - daffodil and bluebell were the yellow and blue ones....can't remember the rest, but you get the gist of it .... happy days! Oh yeah - and Snowdrop...
