There are numerous sites which give an answer to your question, singer, but unfortunately they don't agree on one name. So far I've found gayndah, maralinga and yowie, which apparentlyare all Aboriginal words for thunder, so you decide!

There are over 200 different Australian (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander) languages so you will get more than 3 words for thunder. It will depend on the language and what part of the country you are in. A good place to start would be www.dnathan.com/VL/austLang.htm.
