I'm not finding PRIOR, but after -- Time Magazine, Newsweek, and Sports Illustrated -- Secretariat on their covers on June 11, 1973, the first to be featured on all three magazines' covers in the same week, though no journalists or racing experts had expected the pure and absolute domination that Secretariat exhibited.
