Almost 177 years.

Taking the mean distance between the Earth and the sun to be 93,000,000 miles, a speed od 60mph gives a time taken of 1,550,000 hours, or 64,583 days and 8 hours, or, (ignoring leap years cos it's late where I am) 176 years, 343 days and 8 hours. Ish.

Oh go on then .... I guess in the 176+ years there would be 44 leap years, so the actual total is 176 years, 299 days and 8 hours (unless the time went through a century year or two that didn't have a leap day.... gets a bit involved doesn't it!)

If you wanted to be really accurate you could subtract the radius of the sun, which is 432,000 miles. We don't really need to get to the centre of the sun! But that answer is still 176 years.
