This I understand is a list of cities in England with a population over 100,000.
I have highlighted Football (Soccer) Clubs that I know come from these places.

Can confirm Leicester has professional (or semi professional) teams in Association Football, Rugby Union, Rugby League, Cricket, Basketball, Cycle Speedway, Hockey and American Football
