Called the 'amah' in the original Hebrew. There are many references to it in Exodus, particularly in the details of the construction of the tabernacle, as well as in Genesis, in the construction of Noah's ark.

A cubit is a measure of the distance from one’s elbow to the tip of his/her middle finger. The standard cubit is 18 inches.
