In India, 'granth' (with a small 'g') is used to refer to ancient/medieval Indian religious scripts, of any kind.

It is can be used for Hindu texts as well, such as the Vedas, Brahmanas, Aranyakas, Upanishads, etc.

I guess with a capital 'G', like sequoianoir said, it's used for Sikh scriptures.
