What is the most densely populated country in the western hemisphere, Haiti or El Salvador?

Singapore is not in the Western Hemisphere. Haiti has a population density of 656+ persons per mi2. El Salvador comes in at 691+ per mi2. These figures are for 1994, the newest I have on the shelf.
