Echidna milk actually changes colour. When lactation first starts it is very thin and white. As lactation continues it turns pink because of it being very high in iron, and then later in lactation the milk is so thick it is almost like the thickest cream and you cannot even get it up in a pipette.

The following site, aimed at answering children's questions, has an informative feature called "Ask The Farmer", and states that Guernsey cows yield a "very yellow" milk.
