Jayne Mansfield was the star in "It Takes a Thief" aka "The Challenge" - She was the leader of the thieves. As yet unable to find any connection to Perry Mason.

Ah, there were two films called "It Takes a Thief". One with Jayne Mansfield and the other Bette Davis.
It looks like SM is right.

I was looking for the TV series "It Takes a Thief" (starring Robert Wagner). But SM is most certainly right. YEA, Bette filled in as star on an episode of each series.
