Pat Cohan's Bar
Sean arrives here having just seen Mary Kate herding sheep in the meadow which is now the third fairway of the Ashford Castle Golf Course, this is the part of Cong that was called Innisfree the film makers where looking for a long building one part to be a hotel where Sean stayed the other part was the local bar. This building was never a bar it was a grocery shop, but the outside of the building was turned into a pub for the filming. The present day owner of Pat Cohan's Bar is Jack Murphy who sells souvenirs mostly of the Quiet Man pictures, posters etc he was also an extra in the film, in the fight scene.
