What was the name of the starship in Gene Roddenberry's original draft for the Star Trek television series?

Yorktown was the original name of Star Trek's spaceship, before the ship was called Enterprise, from Gene Roddenberry's first draft of the series outline written in 1964.

It was originally supposed to be the U.S.S. Yorktown NCC-1717
