What can you tell me about Freddie "Parrot Face" Davies?

I used to watch him on TV in the 60s and 70s and thought he was very funny, particularly the blowing raspberries bit. He always wore a dark suit and a bowler hat. I think he died quite a while ago, and I'm also pretty sure he was Jewish, for the record. He also looked a bit like another Jewish comedian, Marty Feldman, who also died about 20 years ago, but Freddy had the huge ears as well which he used the hat to squash down.

He is from Salford, was alive in 2000 though I can't yet find if he still is, and had a few comedy records out which I'm sure Ed Stewart used to feature on Junior Choice.

I do not believe he is dead.
He is only 66 years old, born 21 July 1937 in Brixton, London, England.
He starred in "Harbour Lights" in 1999 (TV Series) playing the character George Blade
