The helicopter has still not been commercially made for long distance travel due to its top speed of around 200mph. Less expensive helicopters can only manage around 100mph. So John O'Groats to Lands End is around 1750 miles.. so with a little bit of quick arithmetic...it would take around 9 hours. But that is at top speed and not allowing for it to stop to refuel...which it would have to do around 6 or 7 times...maybe more depending on the type of helicopter.

But as the crow flies, Land's End to John O'Groats is only 603 miles. I'm sure it's the same the other way around!
