In the late 1920s the FA Cup was stolen. It was later found in a hedge by a dog. What was the dog's name and what type of dog was he?

The dog's name was Pickles, but this was in 1966. It was found in a hedge though.

And it wasn't the FA Cup. It was the Jules Remet trophy, known as the World Cup, which was stolen during the 1966 World Cup in London.

I think the original FA Cup was stolen from a shop window in Birmingham in 1895 and melted down for scrap.
