GBA, GBG, GBJ, GBM, GBS, GBZ. What am I talking about?

Aren't these the plates you get - like the GB plates to say where you're from? While GB is mainland Britain, GBJ would be a car from Jersey, GBG from Guernsey, GBA could be from Alderney etc.

GBZ is Gibraltar, GBM is Isle of Man; GBS is a new one on me. Sounds like an unofficial one for Scotland. Used to be a GBY which was Malta, I think. GBS could be Sark, but I didn't know they had their own. Hardly worth it, if they do.

It certainly wouldn't be worth Sark having an international plate, they have no cars, just a few tractors and I doubt that they go touring often!

I recall GBS form when I was in Guenrsey. Although I've only ever seen it on one car.
