I saw the following words written as a motto on a crest recently, "Concordia Parvares Crescvnt". Can anyone translate for me please?

I'm only busking here, but something like peace grows from small things. It's the concordia I'm not certain about, but the other two mean small things and grow, I may have missed the exact tenses as well.


CONCORDIA RES PARVAE CRESCVNT translated this would mean UNITY MAKES LITTLE BUSINESS BIG

Concordia Parvae Res Crescunt. Small things grow in harmony. The motto of my old school - founded 1620. Presumably we were the small things. Don't remember much harmony, though.

Constructing was began in 1884 and three years later Estlander could make his inaugural speech in the Ateneum edifice, which on its façade carries the motto he had chosen and was a supporter of: 'Concordia res parvae crescunt' (Small matters grow by concent).
