Hmmmm, I'm aware that the Financial Times prints on pink paper and that on January 4, 1993, the Financial Times was printed on white paper to celebrate 100 years "in the pink." - But I'm still looking for the green...

Yes it is La Gazetta dello Sport. The green issue was produced to advertise the opening of the film 'Shrek 2', and La Gazetta were paid 120,000 euros by Shrek's producers 'Dreamworks'.

It probably did, though I've seen a pink newspaper on Italian news-stands so may have gone staright for that anyway. "Think Shrek" might have made it a bit harder!
