Sergeant Pryer is the name given to Sparky on Season 1, Episode 16, "Tuttle". He is shown drinking milk, and eating something. Sparky has red hair, and told Radar that the Captain Marvel annual just came in after Radar sent it to him. Even though he is seen only once, he is in each of the 11 seasons of M*A*S*H because either Radar, Klinger, Hawkeye, and even Charles talked to him and said his name out loud, even if only briefly.

"Sparky," the switchboard operator that Radar frequently calls at I-CORPS, was only seen once during this episode, played by the late Dennis Fimple. Although a first name is never given he is revealed to be a sergeant whose last name is Pryor.
