Who is the black and white picture of near the fireplace in Will's apartment on 'Will & Grace'?

I have found this reference to the photo, however, I can't find out who it is.

"Did anybody see like a black and white picture that looks to be placed above wills fire place, you cant see the face only like the nose, mouth and chin and at the bottom it has like numbers. Like if it were mug shot, it appeared in those really fast clips when grace and will just stare at each other and you can see only their faces and the picture is like in the middle of their faces."

Seems it's supposed to resemble Will.

Who painted that portrait of the man by Will's fireplace?
• I have been unable to find any information on the painting. According to NBC.COM Will & Grace Wardrobe section, the portraits are from a private collection. In the Pop-Up version of "Homojo", a pop-up makes a note that the painting resembles Will. (I don't see the resemblance myself.)
