Brad was also the starting catcher for the Yankees in their first game back from Thurman Munson's death on August 6, 1979.

Actually. Jerry Narron replaced Munson. Brad Gulden was on the team and played, but Narron started the game before and the game after his death.

Narron is famous for staying in the dugout during the anthem and subsequent ovation.
