Fairly clever. He wanted to prove that he could put anything to the top of the charts, and he did. It's all about Marketing.

Finally, an answer to who is responsible for this song. What a helpful site. BTW it is appalling how many people actually think about pop music. It took forever to search this b/c of all the blogs!
