Weight of copper used in Statue 200,000 pounds 100 tons
Weight of steel used in Statue 250,000 pounds 125 tons
Total weight used in Statue 450,000 pounds 225 tons

The famous Statue of Liberty, which weighs 54.31 million lb (24634 tonnes) is officially the world’s heaviest statue.

Is this quite right? According to this site,
Statue of Liberty Pedestal 27,000 tons, 13,300 cubic yards, which doesn't leave a lot for the statue itself.

The Spring Temple Buddha, the world's largest statue, includes 108 kg of gold, 3,300 tons of copper, and 15,000 of steel. Its weight is at least 18,300 tons.
