Yute is Jamaican slang for a young person.
Yute is the Spanish name for Jute, a coarse vegetable or bast fiber traditionally used to make Burlap or Hessian and Gunny Bags. The major species of Jute are Corchorus capsularis and Corchorus olitorius.

For the question, "what is a 'yute'?". 'Yute' was a New York (Brooklyn/Bronx) dialectical linguistic error as pronounced by the character Vinnie Gambini to the judge while Vinnie was referring to his clients. Obviously, the judge did know what Gambini was saying, but preferrs a proper courtroom, and he was goating the upstart lawyer.
Other common New York City linguistical errors you may have heard. Toilet sounds like Terlet. Oil sounds like earl. 33 is pronounced Terdy Tree. Gas is Gazz. A'ight is Alright.
