Why isn't Cat Stevens allowed in America anymore?

On 1 October 2004 Islam was reported to have requested the removal of his name and stated, "I remain bewildered by the decision of the US authorities to refuse me entry to the United States."[2] According to a statement by Islam, the man on the list was named "Youssef Islam", indicating that Yusuf Islam himself was not the suspected terror supporter.[23]

In 2003 he re-recorded "Peace Train" for a charity to benefit children in Iraq... In 2004 he made headlines when he was denied entry into the United States on unexplained national security grounds.

Apparantly, from what I heard, the mosque/school that he teaches/prays at funnels money to terrorist orgainizations.

He actually is now allowed into the US. Just yesterday I listened to a live interview with Stevens/Islam, and was myself surprised that he had indeed successfully returned from London, and recently did a concert in NY. He also is reported to have more planned in various US cities in the near future.
