I'll go with Banks Island for Canada, named for Sir Joseph Banks who accompanied Captain Cook on his first voyage of exploration

Let's hope I get this one right. The 5th largest island in the world is Baffin Island in Canada, named after the British explorer William Baffin.

Baffin is okay, it´s even # 1. Now I would like # 2 and # 3, one is in Canada and one is in the Antarctic Islands, and they, too, start with a ´B´.

1. Baffin Island - named after William Baffin, navigator
2. Banks Island - named after Joseph Banks, explorer
3. Berkner Island - named after Lloyd Berkner, botanist, physicist, engineer
