In 1975, Lopes set a MLB record by stealing 38 consecutive bases without getting caught, broken a 53-year old mark set by Max Carey. Lopes' record was broken by Vince Coleman in 1989. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Davey_Lopes#Feats

I was, in fact, going to suggest Vince Coleman of the Cardinals, with 50 consecutive stolen bases (without getting caught) in the 1988-89 season:
