I read somewhere that Jessica Simpson has a high IQ which qualifies her as a member of MENSA. Is that true?

Her mother claimed in the Vanity Fair article that her IQ is 160. She has been used in advertising by MENSA, and blames MENSA for her marriage breaking up.

A mother's claim doesn't quite do the trick. In order to become a member of MENSA, one must score in the top 2 percent of any recognized standardized intelligence test. If Jessica Simpson has "actually" done this...then she would qualify for membership.
