What was the sequel to Tolstoy's 'War and Peace' called?

Tolstoy himself never wrote a sequel to War and Peace and I couldn't find any information on any other author writing a true sequel with the same characters as the original. Some sites claim "Pierre and Natasha" by Staroy was a planned sequel to War and Peace and appear to claim "Life and Fate" by Vasili Grossman is a semi-sequel of sorts to War and Peace.

There is no "sequel" to War And Peace penned by Tolstoy.
