The age of consent is 16. Sexual intercourse with minors under age 12 is a criminal offense.

These ages are for personal decision. Parents may arrange marriage at younger ages thusly negating any age of consent.

The age of consent is 16 years, however it appears that there are some countries where the age of consent is 12.

12 appears to be the case in Mexico, and Bolivia doesn't seem to have a set age, as puberty is the criterion there. That sounds like a great thing for the lawyers.... I don't know if there is an age of consent in the Vatican City. Probably not. Source: Wikipedia.
